A Greve dos Mendigos

Kéba-Dabo's task in his ministry was to "make human order", in other words: to get the beggars out of the city at a time when tourism, which was booming, might have been disrupted. And their leader, MourNdiaye, insisted again: this time, he doesn't want any on the streets and so it was done. But beggars are human and the day they are crushed by humiliation and decide to go on strike, to stop begging, the whole social life of the country is turned upside down. To whom should I address my prayers? To whom should these gifts bring success?
