This book invites us to rethink the problems of our time from an African philosophical perspective. Philosophy deals with the problems of our time, "Philosophy deals with ecology, unemployment and the North-South divide" (Ngoenha, 2023:31). There needs to be a rapid awareness of climate change, toxic and nuclear discharges, our fossil fuels (the heavy sands of Gaza, Temane gas, Moatize coal...) and oil exploration in the north of the country, otherwise our children are doomed to be future Tarzans, future good savages to satisfy IMF and WB programs. Because when it comes to ecological problems, the poor are the ones most often asked to bear the brunt of the imbalances caused by the rich countries.
